By incorporating more craft vendors, community awareness groups, pet adoption rescues, and create a fun area for kids - the bounce houses, face painting and games should all be located in one spot.

The addition of houses in the Markley Farms area will take away the possibility of open land or green space. Must we utilize every inch of open land to construction? This community did not want the YMCA because of the additional traffic it would produce; however the addition of houses on postage stamp sized lots will create more coming and going of traffic than the Y would have. At least the Y would not have closed at a decent hour eliminating the possibility of overnight traffic.

Via our Facebook page, the following questions were asked by Kim Haymans-Geisler:
Could you please post more detailed information about the RPS renovation project on West Norriton's website? For example: What items are you upgrading at the plant? What will be the maximum flow levels of the upgraded plant (including any additional capacity) as requested in the permit application most recently submitted to DEP including data incorporated from Chapter 94 reports? What is the current status of that application? Also, how do flow levels in the permit request for RPS compare to the maximum flows previously authorized by DEP for that pump station? Given prior capacity levels established for RPS, by how much do current flows in that area of the township exceed those previously authorized? Are the overflows recently experienced in the area completely attributable to I&I?

repair the Storm Drain at Butler and S Wakefield. When the rain comes there is a small stream created which runs down both S Wakefield and S Whitehall which empty into the deteriorating storm drain at present. The storm drain is unable to handle the heavy volume of water; aside from the fact this volume of water is eroding the properties for which it runs along as there is not the barrier of curbing to protect the property of the residents.

Please read the Times Herald article regarding the new plan submission for the proposed Sporting Complex. I urge you to please voice your concerns. Your support of the efforts for Neighbors United at the upcoming Township Meeting on April 14th, 2015 as well as at the Planning Commission Meeting on April 20th, 2015. The inclusion of a complex of this size will have a great impact on not only Westover but the adjoining communities.

This intersection is a clear & present danger to both the vehicle drivers and the surrounding residents. Several accidents have occurred there, which have resulted in property damage to the neighbors on all 4 corners. The latest accident resulted in a fatality on 11/22. This corner is also a bus stop for at least 3 different schools in the area, thus putting our children in danger, as well as, residents who are walking along those roads. Whether it's a traffic light, stop sign or a widening of the streets to increase traffic visibility, something needs to be done immediately. Several residents have rallied behind this by way of a circulating petition that my wife & I started last week. Please leave your e-mail address and I will be happy to send it over to you. Thanks in advance for the support, as I will be bringing this up at tonight's township meeting.

Simple suggestion: Movies/Entertainment after dark bi-weekly @ Oakland Park.

I live on Oxford circle and I am very concerned about the traffic that cuts through to avoid the traffic light on N Whitehall Rd. In addition the school buses are going way too fast. I myself have 2 small children and my neighbors do as well. A neighbors dog has already been hit and i am very worried it could easily happen to a child. I strongly recommend speed bumps to slow cars down and prevent someone from being seriously hurt.

The inclusion of a complex of this size will have a great impact on not only Westover but the adjoining communities. This inclusion of an enormous Sports Complex in a residential community will greatly affect our quality of life, our community, and how we will be forced to change the enjoyment of our own back yards. Additional expense to 'wall ourselves in' and keep out the noise and disrespectful sporting attendees. Would you want this in YOUR back yard?

This is a concern from a driver hit by a golf ball. No one wants to take any responsibility on that. Safety concern!!
