Illicit Discharge Reporting
West Norriton Township is committed to protecting our local streams and waterways. An illicit discharge is any discharge into the storm sewer system that is not stormwater, such as chemicals, oils, wastewater, or other pollutants. These materials flow directly into nearby waterways without treatment and can harm the environment and public health.
Residents are encouraged to report non-emergency suspected illicit discharges, including unusual odors, discolored water, suds, or flowing water during dry weather. Reports help Township staff quickly investigate and address potential issues.
If you believe there is an environmental or public safety emergency, contact the PA DEP Emergency Response Hotline immediately. For non-emergencies, please use the reporting form below to submit your concern.
