All individuals who resided for all or part of any calendar year and had earned income in that year are required to file a Local Earned Income Tax Return with Berkheimer Associates, Tax Administrator, by April 15 every year. Failure to file a Local Earned Income Tax Return by April 15 may result in additional costs including interest, penalties, and late fees. The township’s real estate tax millage rate is set by the elected Board of Commissioners and from time to time may be changed by its action based on the township’s needs and objectives. Real estate taxes are one source of revenue used to pay for township services and costs. As expenses rise, the need to raise real estate taxes may occur. In cases where new sources of revenue are implemented, the Board of Commissioners may vote to lower real estate tax millage.Finance Department
